This took longer to do than I thought it would...

ZOIDS. I loves them to death. Ever since they first came out. I still have all my old models. I used one to reference this. It even helped with the shading! How nice.

Hello there. WElcome to the board!
Well it looks like you're using ShiPainter Pro.. so it's pretty simple.

There is a "layers" window, you can simply just add in the top left (Menu) and just add a new active layer.
Just keep in mind that whatever on top will draw over anything below it. So in general, you want your lineart on top, wh ile you color below it, etc. XD

THe only problem now is that you didn't use the "animated" version, which will make things harder, since it does not save your layers. XD;;;

Yeah, liek n.3.k.o says, layers make life easier, but only if you use teh animated feature XD; It's alright though, You can always just retraces teh lines you want to keep on another layer if you want to retouch this, I suppose XD

Agh, you 're still having problems? 8D;;; Dang.
But this looks really cool~ I like teh whole effect, and the fact that you could only use teh pen tool so the colouring isn't perfect and smooth adds to the effect, I think XD *dumb*
Hope ya fix it soon. Sounds like a pain to deal with 8D;;;

Man. I haven't drawn this guy in /forever/. Come to think of it, I haven't drawn any Klonoa characters in nearly forever. Seems odd, since I first learned how to draw thanks to them. I should be more grateful. xc

I never wound up settling on a style for any Klonoa characters... this one's leaning more toward the original style than the one I used to use... Still debating whether or not Guntz looks better with hair on his head... and eyebrows.

As for the picture itself, it started off as a mimic of n.3.k.o.'s "white background" pictures. It sets up a nice atmosphere. Personally, I think it's good for a "sudden surprise" sort of picture, where time seems to slow down as the character is caught off guard. I thought up a scenerio for whatever the heck is going on here. Might draw it up as a comic here later... though it's probably not going to make any sense as it'll take place in the middle of the nonexistant Lucid Dreams. :p

Ooo nice. Personally, I do like your older style of drawing, but a fusion of both can also be interesting too. XD I think it is time for you experiment~

Man, you put it like it's some original way for me to draw a "BG" or something 8D;;; It's nothing special. Lol.
But yeah, that's what it would be used for more... but I tend to use when I just wanna make it all fuzzy and blended. 8D;; *shot*

Not entirely sure what y ou're trying to do here.... it's still great. I like the result. XD
