Lol the concept was actually based on some vent art, the black liquid was meant to be a black rain but bah I couldn't even make a decent rain drop in Oekaki so screw that idea Imma making it like some weird latex thing 8DD; *Shot*

Haha. I think if you'd given the liquid some subtle shading and highlights it would've looked more like how you wanted. It looks like flat manga blood the way it is now.

But the rest of the picture is great. I love the character, both in shades and expression. You're really good at making realistic folds in clothes. And his expression really portrays a sad, submissive smile. And of course I admire anyone who can draw a decent hand. XD

This may be nitpicking, but the background sort of contradicts the mood we're supposed to be feeling. It's a pleasant pale yellow to pink that's nice to look at. Maybe something colder like blue would've come across better. Unless it's tying in with the character's expression, which is also something of a contradiction to the situation.

Nice picture, though. I just love the clothe folds that accurately portray the shape of the shirt. The shading is really nice, but the expressions sort of stand out as not belonging because of their simplicity and lack of realism compared to the rest of the picture. Not a bad thing, but maybe such expressions would have suited a more simple picture. XD

I've been feeling pretty stressed lately. College classes seemed to jump out of nowhere and assault be with tons of work. I haven't had a second to work on my Tail Concerto doujinshi, but hopefully I'll get the practice pilot chapter up on dA in a few weeks.

I feel like I should recognize this character, but I don't. Is he from an anime or your own creation?

Either way, he sure is cute here. I like his hair and the way you drew his face. For criticism, I would first like to point out his left leg. Considering the angle he's sitting at, it would be very difficult to twist his leg that way unless it was stretched further away from his body. If you had lowered the knee to give a sense of perspective closer to the screen, then it would look better.

Otherwise, the anatomy looks pretty good. The shading seems to have a consistent light source, though you could possibly have given it more depth here and there, like making darker shadows in the hair. The shirt could also use some more folds.

But that's just nitpicking. It's really just that leg that stands out as wrong. Otherwise, it's really nice!

I noticed the leg thingie, I just suck at 'em so badly :/ I should use something as a reference next time, like a picture of myself or something. And on the shading, I'll try harder next time!

The character's supposed to be Black, the male protagonist in Pokémon Black/White as well. XD

This is a character (the main?) from a North Korean cartoon I found on Youtube called Squirrels and Hedgehogs. I know it's source is not a nice one but I find the animation and storyline (from what I can interpret slightly) to be interesting. Plus I like squirrels. xD From what I can guess the squirrel is working undercover with the enemies which are weasels. I hope that the characters in the show don't represent actual countries or people. =x
Anyways.. I was bored and couldn't think of anything better to draw at the moment. >.>

I watched a few clips of that just now. It looks kind of... weird. I get an uncanny vibe from it. Probably because the animation is choppy and the characters have odd expressions. Plus, they're mouths don't move when they talk. But I guess for its time it might have been considered impressive.

I like your drawing, though. The expression is very acute, much more so than the cartoon seems capable of expressing. And I love the broken shading and lineart. I has a very harsh feeling to it that suits the picture's mood. Nice job. c:

Thanks for the comment. I can understand why the animation looks a bit odd while in motion considering where it was made. I find the concept and designs of the characters (besides the occasionally creepy faces) to be interesting. xP

Wow! Very impressive and eyecatching. I think you look more polished in a style and "balance with the proportions and you seem to mend it into your own style. XD I kinda like that "Huge eye" approach (if it's considered huge)on the character in the green tanktop. XD

There are mi nor things hre and there but I don't know if it's that significant.. XD:
But the BG looks nice though. I';m assuming a train or something? XD

Thanks! I try to make the style somewhat similar to the original, but still my own so that it doesn't look strange. And their eyes are pretty big in the game, so I just kept that the same since it's easier and cuter. XD

I know the anatomy is wonky here and there and their heads are too big. Just some things I still need practice on. And I guess their on some kind of airship bus, 'cause I don't think they have trains on Prairie. X3

Haha. I do that all the time. Sometimes oekaki just drags you in, begging you to draw something. But you spend a good 10 minutes just staring at the blank canvas wondering what you should draw. XD

I say, Kunaru, your drawing skills sure have improved! I haven't been on dA for a while so I wouldn't know, but this picture is a lot neater and sharper than the others you've drawn here. Your style is still there, but it's much improved. I really like it, even in simple picture like this! Nice job.

On a side note, a feminine figure somehow suits KoS. X3

Thanks! Well, even if you had been on DA, I left that site around august, so yeah. xD' And the neatness part, maybe it was because I used the pressure sensitive thing on oekaki, so I guess it helped. 8P

I agree lol, he looks quite femenine on the game anyways...

I definitely agree. It's a simple style yet has its own balance and neatness as mentioned already.
It looks great even in minimal coloring / flat color. When I seem to do it, they look soul-less or something.. I'm yet to learn it. XD

But I think you drew him well though. XD A blank, but sad face.
